I wash my damn dog every other day because he goes outside and rolls in the mud all the time, and I have to wash him in the bathtub because somebody stole my garden hose. At least you get a certain amount of respect from those people that can truly be called human beings. I just get weird looks from people when I tell them my dog hurt me in the shower. >.<
It has it's ups and downs but for the most part I like my job a lot. We don't get a lot of rich people at either of the shops I work at so I don't get those type of people often. It's the ones that don't understand that their dog needs to be maintained on a regular basis and more than just once a year that bother me, especially after they've been informed multiple times. Oh and it's not puppy play time and all fun and games; it's hard dirty disgusting work. Most of my regular customers realize this though and have an appreciation for what I do.
