  1. Yeah pretty much. It doesn't happen as often but it was pretty cool when these things happened.
  2. Very interesting. So it’s kinda the opposite of what happens nowadays. Kinda reminds me of what happened with Pokémon Gold and Silver when they had so much more time and cartridge space left that they decided to put in the entire region from the previous games in there
  3. Technically yes. They actually did intend for the Floating Continent to be the final dungeon, but their production went by so well they decided to keep adding onto the game. The Ruined World was not in the original early drafts, though they did throw so much into it, they ate up all their development time and had a major crunch towards the end with debugging the poor thing.
  4. I get that this is at least partially a joke, but I’m also aware you know far more about VI’s development than me. Did they actually just do the World of Ruin for padding purposes?
  5. No they copies MegaTen because they finished the game early an had some time to add some trout.
  6. So you’re saying the creators of VI just knew what was coming
  7. I feel like we're just coming back around to it. Probably due to the times around us.
  8. So I’ve come back to DQXI and I find it hilarious how both it and FFXV, games I’m playing back to back, do the FFVI World og Ruin thing. Neither does it as effectively for a number of reasons, but it’s still funny. Like is this a trope that’s made a comeback recently or did these two games must happen to have that
  9. I know that feeling. I've been wanting to check out their other games as well. Wasn't impressed with Lost Sphere's demo, the game felt weird even if the premise had promise. Oninaki on the other hand had a very promising demo. The Action RPG combat wasn't exactly my cup of tea, but the narrative and gameplay elements were very cool.
  10. Well yeah, that’s why I said I trust you I do still find it funny though, how the internet be sometimes. I definitely do want to play it one day. I’ll just need to buy it and have the time
