Learning Tagalog is hard. Though I'm very impressed at your tagalog-writing prowess (wrar!) not many foreigners would take the time to learn Filipino. It is usually up to us to learn our partner's foreign language. And "pag-aralan" means "to learn".

Sabi ko sa asawa ko gusto kon'g magpractice ang Tagalog pero sabi niya sa akin ayaw niya kasi walung pasyensiya siya sa Tagalog ko.
