Yeah, it's an option for the "last resort" atm. I spoke to my sister, she actually agreed with me bout the stress and getting signed off. I've also caught my direct superior essentially incriminating himself for unfair treatment and bullying on facebook which means when written off I'll have a stronger case to either move store or keep myself off work longer. Stupid idiot that he is he didn't even think to hide it.
An extra 80 quid in the bank a month would definitely go a long way, saving that much on travel would be awesome. Moving is certainly not an easy thing but at least it's an alternative if London just gives you the absolute trouts.
well not looking at moving home unless I have to. Might consider leaving London completely, would be tempted to go further North. Scotland would be a distinct possibility as would Manchester or Newcastle. However I'd need work there lined up or to have some savings in my bank account already before getting out there for that. Right now it's a case of instead of working 16 miles away in central west end, I'm looking within 5 - 10 miles from home, mostly within the 5 mile mark that way, no or very little if I need a bus pass travel costs (bus pass is like 60 a month)
Yeah I was looking into moving too because I spend way too much on travel. It also saves a lot of stress too, I know driving and catching public transport smurfing pisses me off. There are idiots there you don't have to deal with, a nice little walk down the street is infinitely better. That last alternative seems really smurfing good, huge pay increase at the end of the road. That would set you up nicely!
