  1. There classes actually have different stat growth, including Ramza's if I remember correctly. Cid and Balthier's unique classes actually have some of the best stat growth in the game that isn't Mime, Ninja, or Onion Knight.
  2. Oh, one more thing - what do you suppose I should do with the unique characters? I was thinking of giving them some extra abilities, but later coming back to the unique classes. Still, I wonder - if their jobs replace the squire, does that mean they have the same stat growth as squires? If so, it doesn't really pay for them to stay that class, does it :/
  3. I'll probably do that. Maybe just visit some other jobs for some helpful abilities, but yeah, I really want to avoid doing what I did in FFVI and having everyone learn the skills that break the game.
  4. Yes I acquired Dark Knight and they are broken as hell, especially since the steep requirements to unlock the class will largely give you all the skills needed to makes them more broken than they should be. They are fun to play as and Ramza's final class for me is usually Dark Knight now.

If you don't feel like unlocking/mastering every class for a character then I would suggest level grinding for stat boosts.
  5. I am! Though I have to tell you, out of all the job system games, this is about the only one where I really worry if it's time to change jobs. I still have access only to Mandalia Plain for grinding, but I've already grinded quite a bit, so everyone has JP boost and I changed my chemists into mages and two of my four squires into archers.

I'm kinda wondering about something. Because I know there's some, so to say, "end-jobs" that I want my characters to be. What do I di if I master that job for them? Should I grind for other skills in other job, or do you think I should just stick to their job and simply gather up experience, without worrying about JP anymore.

Also, have you ever had a Dark Knight?
  6. Yeah getting wisdom teeth pulled is no fun but at least you're having a blast with FFTactics.
  7. I restarted FFT! How can this game be so shamelessly awesome?

Also, it helps me get over the pain of my wisdom tooth removal
  8. I'll hit up Romancing SaGa after I finish up a my Mana games. I need to get back to SaGa Frontier 2 and then I'll tackle the Romancing SaGa titles.

Right now I'm juggling between a replay of Secret of Mana because it's been years since I've played it, and a fresh playthrough of Children of Mana which has been in my backlog for a few years. I hope to jump into Seiken Densetsu 3 after that but lately, I really want to play through Legend of Mana again. I kind of forgot how much I really enjoyed this franchise.
  9. Oh, awesome! I need to get back to it someday. I've only beaten Sword of Mana and almost beat Secret of Mana on my phone.

I, on the other hand, plan to play Romancing SaGa soon. My Heroes III LP didn't kick off the way I'd hoped, so I'll either take a break from it or stop altogether in lieu of Romancing SaGa.
  10. You should experiment with the customization system in VI, it's a bit deeper than people give it credit for simply because the easy solution is so simple to implement.

I've been playing me some Mana titles.
