  1. Certainly! I'll try and do some flash fiction for it over the coming week or so and I'll throw it up in the Timber Maniacs HQ so we can workshop it a little. Very mysterious feel; how on earth did those little flags get there? That's for me to figure out!
  2. Jiro brother! Would this be a piece you could imagine a backstory for? http://home.eyesonff.com/attachments...tflags_800.jpg

    Enjoy : )
  3. Sounds awesome dude. I know you're quite passionate about the history and stories contained within your works, which is why I thought that expanding that out for people to experience alongside it could be really frigging cool. I look forward to seeing some new work
  4. Jiro brother! My apologies for the late reply, I was busy getting myself onto planes and flying "home"! But that idea is awesome, I'd love to see backstories to my paintings from a completely different point of view. How about we do a try out when I finish my next one?
  5. I had a thought today. We should do a collab project: you create an image series and I'll write an accompanying story, whether that be one narrative or a combination of short stories. I have no idea how we would publish this or what we could do but dude clearly your art is amazing and would ship copies of anything.
  6. I knew I wasn't going to be able to afford Japan until at least this year so I pushed it back to give myself plenty of time. My buddy and I want to see as much as we can; at this point there are only a couple of things on the must-see list, everything else is a little flexible. But I'll be scoping it out soon enough and making a plan of action!
  7. Congrats on the job! That sounds pretty sweet. Did you have to postpone your Japan trip that was meant to happen end of 2013? And what places do you have on the menu for the upcoming one? Staying on the mainland or heading to the snowy north?
  8. I've been great! Had some rough choices to make and things were hectic for a while but I'm enjoying myself, starting to move in the right direction. Got hired recently as a research assistant to design an online uni course, so my financial woes are on hold for a while It's been really warm here lately but I'm holding out knowing that come November I'll be standing in snowy Japan
  9. Thanks brother Jiro, that's a grand compliment! I'll try to keep the standard high : ) How have you been in the meantime? How's sunny oz? Enjoy!
  10. oh I didn't notice there wasn't another post for me to finish my rep comment. Basically, your writing style is quite nice and clever and witty and I should've realised this from your sweet ability as a lyricist but yeah man you write good
