True, not like the other two stories are not overdone as well, but there is more of an actual story to them. The two I can't get to work lack character. They just sound like an urban legend or creepypasta whereas the two I want to write are closer to Poe or King in execution. That might be the hangup. One story involves the dangers of obsessing over the dead, and the other is based around the concept of a monster I dreamed up, but it has a Guillermo del Toro vibe to it.
Hey, overdone concepts have potential anyway! I think at least one of my ideas is an overdone concept, but it's always the utilization that matter, eh?
I had a great concept for one story but I can't figure out a way to make it into a fluid story. It sounds more like a description of a creature/phenomena that is creepy as opposed to a story. On the other hand, I kind of came up with another story that will wok as an actual story but I feel the concept is a bit overdone.
How so?

Still, need to get that move +3 from the bard, so I can't play around with it yet... But yeah, I'm really over leveled. Just got out of the Monastery in chapter 3 and I'm level 50 already. Though alive noticed levels don't give you quite the edge in story battles that Id expect.
