Nice job on the Night Watcher btw. The impression I got was that had the story gone on for a couple moreines, the watcher's friends would've popped out and revealed that it was all just a prank bro =P but since that doesn't happen you're left with the feeling of pure dread he's feeling in that moment. That instant never ends. Which is pretty interesting to think about ^^
Lol, thanks I think I'm too lazy to ever get that, though. Honestly, I think it's mostly the weather that's been making me feel so tired. I have been incredibly sensitive to weather conditions since I was a kid. Thankfully, today is nice, so I might get more stuff done.

You just have to go in thinking that it's a completely different medium. Books have been around for millennia and that actually gives them the edge over many other media, since they've had so many years to refine themselves. And all other media present nowadays stand on their shoulders, so to speak. I think it might be easier to get back than you think Just think of it as something completely different rather than a watered down visual novel.
The book recommendations topic made me realize something; I wonder if I could ever really get back into reading books. I recently realized just how important a good soundtrack really is to me - no exaggeration all my favorite games and VNs have wonderful soundtracks - and I don't know if I could get that feeling of immersion in a story without it anymore. I mean soundtrack isn't everything of course but it's one of the core elements of memorability to me. Kind of a scary thought in a way.
