  1. Dude that would be fantastic! We can't start critiquing until we've hit the big 5-0 though, but we can spur each other on with words of encouragement like "struth keep it up you bloody beauty" and "cor blimey that's a good 'un guv'na" and such. WE CAN DO IT BECAUSE WE ARE AWESOME. I am also interested in seeing how your plot turns out, the synopsis was very intriguing. Oh man I am absolutely exhausted right now so gonna sleep and wish you the best of luck for your nanoing! Keep up the giant word counts and you could find yourself with a sequel or something all in the one month!
  2. Would you like to be NaNoWriBros? We can critique each others' stuffs!
  3. I had to do interviews for an article I'm writing for assessment! I hope it goes well, otherwise I'm looking like a pretty rubbish journalist

My day was actually rather awesome, despite the sheer volume of work I had to do! I caught up with some friends on campus and then we went and got subway and told really bad jokes, some of which were really very racist (but mostly against Irish people so it's okay ) and then I did more work. I'm currently procrastinating like a mothersmurfer
  4. That would be neat. He'd be a little, tiny bard guy, just trotting around. He'd be like a singing Pokemon.

Exactly. Each chapter has to have its own focus. It helps a lot while writing, and makes the read more BRILLIANT.

What are the interviews for? O:

Hard work pays off, especially wh - HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I hope your day is going/has gone well!
  5. I was hoping that he'd be like fruit and just drop off once he's grown. Then he could just follow me around!

Last NaNo taught me the importance of chapters as well. They need to be sort of self-contained, you can't just have one continuous tale and cut it up into even sized bits, it just doesn't work!

Got my interviews to do today and then write the article and then FUN TIEMS AWAY. It sucks to work so hard on my birthday though, but sometimes sacrifices have to made to ensure good times ahead
  6. Would the bard grow out of your chin? That might be a little off-putting to the ladyfolk, and it'd be somewhat difficult to stand with a full-sized man protruding from your face.

This whole endeavour has made me realize why long books are divided into chapters. With chapters, a book isn't as labourous to write, and it also seems to me like it'd be more satisfying to read because of the sense of advancement that comes with each new chapter.

Good luck with your uni work! I'd love to hear more about the novel, and it'll be awesome once you start writing on it, because then I will have a blog buddy! Only two more days until Wednesday, and then fun tiems :D!
  7. I hope you recover quickly!
  8. I will write a longer usernote tomorrow, but I have been partying and raving all weekend, and now I need sleep. No posts from Letters From Sarah this weekend, but I'll get one up tomorrow morning. Until then!
  9. Rereading stuff nearly always gets me enthused to write more. It's always a case of knowing something awesome is coming up and wanting to get there quickly!

Oh god I'm excited to write stuff already. It's often an excuse to mask laziness, but I am actually trying to get all my uni work out of the way so I can start prepping stuff! I started writing a novel when I was like 14 and it's sort of rubbish but there is a lot of potential and I can't wait to rework it into something amazing. Plus, I have a signature and statement from one of my friends saying she will marry me if I dedicate it to her. Not a bad incentive there! Her fiance doesn't seem too keen on the idea though!

Oh man I am SO EXCITED TO WRITE NOW DAMN YOU MOGI MY FRIEND xD I will finish working on one assignment this evening, do another one by Wednesday and then I think I'm almost done! THEN COMES THE FUN TIMES.
  10. I wish I could grow a bard, he'd sing me awesome adventure stories and be the life of the party! xD A beard wouldn't be half bad either

I think having them in smaller sections would be a lot easier when it comes time to do a revision etc. I know from trying to edit my NaNo novel last year that it's just a giant pain in the ass and I can only do little bits at a time. Practice makes perfect though I suppose! Oh god that sounds depressing, I have to practice editing xD

Gotta split my post too, stupid limits xD
