I actually haven't played that series =x DON'T SHOOT ME.
Yeah ALthough I remember that even at the time it came out I was a big enough mythology nerd to be annoyed with how they messed up some of the myths Like, NO HERA CAN'T JUST BE PLAYING WITH BABY HERCULES LIKE THAT THAT'S JUST SO WRONG ON SO MANY LEVELS!!!!! One of the reasons why I love the Shin Megami Tensei series is that they have all those creatures from various mythologies there, Greek included, and it's all so well-researched!
I was obsessed with it as a kid. Still really enjoy it. I like the whole gods of different things... thing. Such interesting stories. The hercules movie and it's companion show probably didn't help! lol
I didn't really spend that much time watching the shows, but my parents did, and I just saw an episode or two, same with Star Trek I was lucky enough to be raised by a couple of shameless nerds But I did develop a quite unhealthy obsession with Greek mythology. DOn't know if Xena had anything to do with it, though
Pretty much! Did you go around playing that you were fighting greek gods and vampires too? That and star trek. I'm working my way through that backlog now though. That's a lot of episodes x.x I just hit TNG

Oh man. I love her. I recently just watched Spartacus and she's a fancy roman lady in it. Well, all conniving! Plus she's in Battlestar Galactica and I love her there too. I grew up on Xena and Buffy so I have that whole badass lady idols thing haha.
Haha XD I think I'll do fine! I'll just be a Manqo'te instead of a Twink-o'te But good luck on that Xena cosplay! My dad used to watch the show religiously, for obvious reasons Though it's weird, since Lucy Lawless is pretty bulky, and my dad has, um, rather traditional tastes
I've never cosplayed either! I thought that would be a great start though. Hey, you can work a Miqo'te if you wanna rock it! Just take angled pictures ot make you look taller haha
Ooh, awesome! I've never cosplayed in my life, even though the city I live in hosts probably the biggest annual con in the country Thjnking about doing that someday, though! Since Ania and I want to play Miqo'te if we ever get to play FFXIV, I think a male Miqo'te costume could be nice Although I do worry my build is a bit too heavy for that, since the cat people are so slender.
