Really w/ the Japanese romanji spelling (Earisu), it could be either Aeris or Aerith. IDK why they tried to change it. It was fine the way it was.
Yeah exactly!! It sounds so much nicer to me and when I say 'Aerith', I feel like I'm saying it with a lisp because I'm used to 'Aeris'. xD
I've always preferred Aeris, as "Aerith" sounds like something Poshul from Chrono Cross would call her.

Hello ^^ Are you part of the Aerith or Aeris army? I know 'Aerith' is the correct way, but Aeris sounds nicer to me, although I've been cussed out for saying 'Aeris' before xD
