  1. It's been so long I don't really remember.
  2. That tablet from Kiefer near the end was pretty touching.
  3. Glad you enjoyed it.
  4. Beat DQVII. The longest one yet, definitely, but also probably the easiest yet. Still, highly enjoyable, par for the course of this series.
  5. Yeah, that's kind of the reason why I don't casually play DQVII like other entries in the series. It's long... IX really hasn't been any better either but VII is more tedious.
  6. Am I nearing the end, by the way? The whole starting over in Pilchard Bay made think about how long ago the beginning of the game was, and how incredibly long ago Kiefer left, and how insanely long ago Alltrades Abbey was. The whole game feels like an endless abyss of time, but I guess it's a good thing I'm only feeling it just now.
  7. Glad you're enjoying the full DQVII experience.
  8. You know what really sucks about DQVII?

    That friggin' lighthouse.

Not only does it have the worst platformingbpart in the entire game, but you have to go there so many times. And not only did I accidentally go one time too many in the past because I thought I was supposed to go there but it turned out I needed a mcGuffin first, I also went there before the fetch quest in the present, because I didn't know I'd have to go back there because that quest was terrible. And now I have to go there AGAIN. With just. Sir. Mervyn.

    Kill me.
  9. Well IV had the misfortune of being released in a odd numbered year.
  10. I need some variety here. I did start Silent Hill 3 tonight, got past the prologue and then shut down to restart an old save file of FFVII cause I've been doing the song numbers from that game in CC. Then I played CC after I got a ways into VII.

I'm currently working on the set of heroes from games that I don't really love the soundtrack to or don't know it very well. Not looking forward to the eventual dive into the XIII trilogy and X-2. Though Mystic Quest will be fun, though I'll seriously need to use will power not to buy up all the missing tracks from my fave FFs in the DLC or buy all the tracks from Mana, CT, and Xenogears. I mean I know they're a dollar a piece and you're certainly getting your money's worth, but that trout adds up as iTunes has taught me harshly time and again.
