That certainly would be something. Plenty of festivals have good line-ups, but you can't book a good crowd, and the right people can improve a concert experience immeasurably. I might have to do Roskilde next year now.
You really should. Roskilde is famous for its atmosphere - it's been said that it's the only festival around that has the same atmosphere as Woodstock had, which is pretty awesome if you ask me

Yeah, that's probably the way it is. I saw a lot of acts, some of them were: Choir of Young Believers, Duffy, Radiohead, MGMT, Band of Horses, Santogold, Cat Power (which was awesome!), Grinderman (Nick Cave), Neil Young, Goldfrapp, Joan as Police Woman, Gnarls Barkley, The Chemical Brothers etc. It was a great festival!
Maybe that's true. I find that's often the case when people see bands they're not familiar with. Who else did you see?
Yeah, I saw them live. Or at least I saw about half of the concert, since the people I was with didn't want to see anymore of it. We went to see Lady Saw instead, which was also very enjoyable. Anyway, I thought they did a good job, but I only knew about two songs of the ones I heard. I guess you have to be a fan to fully enjoy a show with them?
Did you see Radiohead at Roskilde in the end? Were they good? Oh man, you got The Gloaming. That song is something else live. I've got to see them again now.
