Seriously, I don't think I've ever disliked a character so much. But I kinda love that about him. You can count on JK to make you truly despise a character and make it feel so good. Still, I really don't feel like I can ship Robin and Cormoran together? I mean, I love their relationship overall, but for some reason I really don't think it could ever work out romantically.

Yeah I'm excited to finish it! I just got it last night again and when I went to go play it this morning on my commute, well i forgot to set it to download to my phone and it will only do so with wifi, so I just listened to NPR instead (but to be fair we have a lot of crazy ass news to follow around here so I guess that wasn't all that bad) I don't like Robin's Fiance, he's kinda an unnecessary dick to her about Strike.
But yeah, by the third book, Robin is one of my favorite book protagonists ever. I mean, technically she's a deuteragonist, but you know what I mean
Well, that's good! I wonder what you'll think of it once you're done. I think it had my favorite mystery in the series, though the one in the third book is also great. Of course, overall I feel The Career of Evil is the best of the bunch, but that's mostly because there's just SO MUCH character stuff going on! I can't remember what happened with Strike and Robin in the Silkworm, to be honest
OH I just got it back this weekend! Stupid library and making me give it up.
