  1. Okay, help.

I entered that castle and I walk into the basement and all I find is a corpse that does nothing. What now? I got the sphere of light from that hidden castle somewhere in Russia, but where do I use it?
  2. Agreed.
  3. Yeah, just like I said in that thread. I'm so glad DQ exists and that it's so popular in Japan that they will without a doubt keep making them until Horii, Toriyama and Sugiyama die. This is what I love. No pressure to make it like other games. It's just its own thing and it's loved for it, which really is for the best. Games should be diverse, imho
  4. Some games don't have to evolve. Sometimes, people just want that nostalgic feel. Besides, DQ is surprisingly harder than people give it credit for.
  5. Yeah. You can see that in every aspect of the game.

Though really, in the meta sense it's the opposite, since the progression of the DQ games is the epitome of safe
  6. Well DQ's creator does love gambling...
  7. He knows Zing, I think, and healing spells up to Midheak. They all know Zing, except Marcella, and it's better than nothing, though I'm bothered by how unreliable it is. 10 MP is a lot and nothing gets more frustrating when you try to bring back a fallen party member in a boss battle and keep burning through your MP, failing to bring them back.
  8. Yeah those are useful spells to have.Your hero at least knows Kazing and a healing spell right?
  9. Yeah, they went through the exact jobs I told tou they'd go, so it's their first class for both of them. I'm just kind of worried the sages learn multiheal on level 34 and kazing on 38 or something. Not sure I wanna grind that high, but those spells are very helpful
  10. If your level 20s have been through a few jobs, their levels should be fine.
