  1. I wish I have a big nerd social grp! Gone were the days where the cool guys and gals are from Sports or some elite club. I was a secretly a big nerd in my school days but i tend to hide it cuz it was uncool back then.

I am not much of a party person. Went to club once or twice and the loud music raped my ears. You even went to parties?
  2. No, not that quirky. Most of my friend group came from my job I had on campus, and all of us just happen to be comic book/anime/video game nerds. Our big nerd out was hijacking our work space (which was the club room on out off days) to play out own music and video games. We also torrent a lot of stuff using the school internet. Other than that, we were fairly tame.

Sorry you missed out on typical college junk, but to be honest it's just high school but more relaxed. Unless you're in a fraternity/sorority which I hear is chaotic.
  3. I started working after high school. So when I attended part time college, it was all adults and we are only interested in finishing the class fast and mind our own business. Guess I missed the youthful college life.

BTW, were your college life like the big bang theory's crew?
  4. Yeah, my friends were all the tech nerds at school. Were you more of a party person?
  5. I always thought college life would be pretty memorable! Lesser whiny teen angst drama and more talks about adult life. I bet yours is filled with wonderful gaming experiences rather than endless booze and drunken parties.
  6. I am one of those weirdos who really loved college life.
  7. Wtf? You took gaming to the next level!! Fatal Frame in a school theater system!! That is both a wet and horror dream at the same time!! You had such an awesome school life!!
  8. Ah thanks! I had a lot of time on my hand back then. Still have a few more additions I'm working on for them.

Fatal Frame is a bit scarier since it does have more jump scares. Also, if you have a good audio setup, you'll see how frightening the games can really be. When my friend and I played it back in the day, we hooked it up to this theater system our school used for meetings and club activities and good lord they went all out on the audio design of the games. We discovered there is one whole audio channel dedicated to this soft chanting that's hard to pick up without a surround system. It's pretty intense.
  9. Wow, i never knew you have these awesome threads and blogs going on! Gonna read them!!
These japanese companies like using Caucasians for their game characters and a western setting. Sometimes i thought Silent Hill is from a western company.

Silent Hill thus far! Trying to get the courage to watch Fatal Frame though.
  10. That's the one. SH2 is my fave followed by the original on the PS1. SH3 has some good moments, but was a mixed bag overall. I still need to do a fully playthrough of SH4. I've only played the demo back in the day, but I do own it. Not sure I'll bother with the Western developed ones because they all have issues that bother me, but who knows?

What scary games have you liked/played/watched?
