That's cool! Long story short, I lost everything all at once- both of my jobs and my school funding. . I knew I was going to lose my apartment and I didn't want my girl to be homeless with me. My sister wasn't open to letting me move in with her, so I let my girl move in with her so that she wouldn't have to go through being homeless with me.
I went to a community college for about 6 weeks before i droped out lol. Now i work for a company that does inspections on natural gas pipelines, which is what i was doing in NY. And my job requires me to move as well and it sucks. So when you say "you want to get your kid back" do you mean she was taken from you??
I'm from one of the 'burbs - actually a more ghetto area.. It used to be nice, but it went hella downhill over the last 10 years. You know the flood that happened where 24 got got flooded so bad? I was at work less than 1/4 mile away from it on the street that goes under that overpass. Lol I'm kind of hoping he does. If he goes back into the Army full time, he'll be officer rank w officer rank pay & get up to $200k in bonuses. He's in the Reserves now though. The downside to him going through with it is him getting stationed in different places every 2 years or whatever. I'm done with moving. I've done it so much in my lifetime and I'm ready to be in one place. In Nashville. Plus I want to get my kid back and keep her in her regular routine as much as possible. Are you in school or anything?
Memphis is mecca 4 me. Nashville may have all the money but Memphis has the all the personality . And tell your bf, as long as the VA is paying, that he should go to Med. Sch. At least then you can tell your friends your dating a doctor lol. I lived in Elmira, its near the NY/Penn border. And im 23.
Oh okay! I've been through there so many times and have never actually visited Memphis. But.. That holds true for the vast majority of the places I've been. He's in school for nursing and then on to working towards being a Physician's Asst .. He's considering medical school, but he doesn't know yet. How old are you? What part of NY were you in?
It's about an hour drive north of west memphis. I actually lived in NY for about 9 months for work, but never visited NYC. What does your bf go to school for?
What part of AR is that? We go through there a couple times a year to visit my dad- he lives 30 miles west of Texarkana via 40. Lol my bf is in school. He gets more money from the VA if he goes to school here, so we moved. I miss the South though lol.. NYC is cool. We have a bad ass apartment down by the beach, but it's just not home.
