  1. I used to be able to do a convincing Southern accent, but alas, I went out of practice
  2. The only strength of my dialect is that it's considered to be the most neutral in the States, so I sound like a TV/Radio person because it's devoid of the regional dialects of the more colorful parts of the country.
  3. My friend speaks with a flawless Estuary (I think that's how you spell it?) dialect, but whenever we get together and speak English, my perfect American accent contaminates the trout out of that
  4. I do a decent British accent though I'm not good with regional dialects as I would like to be.
  5. I have no idea why, but for some reason I've been reading your posts with a British accent (as in, in my head, not out loud) for the last couple of days
  6. That's good to hear. Stray positive, you get more out of life that way.
  7. Nah. I just think I'm getting a bit manic-depressive. Still, I'm on the way to making things better - my wife and best friend have been really supportive, so I think my darkest hour is behind me now
  8. I do what I can. Of anything take solace in the fact that whatever your problem is, there is a good chance you won't remember it very well a year from now unless it's something life changing.
  9. If that helps, godspeed I don't think that's exactly what I need for my problem, but thanks a lot anyway It means a lot to me, really.
  10. Sometimes it's not about being creative, just moving about and doing a task to get your mind off issues can be enough, I often do Tai Chi moves to calm myself down. Probably should do that now...
