Whenever it's sad or not is debatable. But yeah, it really does make more sense than super weird "Fate/Stay Night". Sometimes I seriously wonder what Type Moon were thinking. In all honesty, "I, My, Me Strawberry Eggs" makes more sense, in a way. Because while the actual name may be just as bad as Fate/Stay Night, the anime itself is a somewhat random comedy anime. And random names suits random comedies. Fate/Stay Night on the other hand, is a blood-serious action anime. And thus, the super random name is just completely out of place.
