Conversation Between Wolf Kanno and Fynn

  1. I don't know about that, I mean I felt one of the issues with the plot was that it did have some valid points as a serious plot but just kept switching back and forth between being serious and absolutely silly.
  2. Also, the Charlie's Angels thing is all the more interesting as the movies (not the original show) were pretty similar to X and X-2 - both pairs were pretty shallow, but the sequel at least knew it was dumb and had fun with it.
  3. Don't get me wrong. I still don't think it's a good game. But I did enjoy it much more than the original, what can I say. It's just amusing how they went about sequelizing this game
  4. Yeah...
  5. Exactly. And it was GLORIOUS XD
  6. Well it did take a tragic story and turn it into a J-Pop infused Charlies Angels.
  7. I get what you mean XD I was a stupid kid back when I played X and feel for the hack storytelling. It was only later when I replayed all the numbered games that I realized X was actually pretty bad. But still, it's amusing how fans of X get personally offended at how X-2 crapped all over the source material.
  8. You may be surprised the depths of Toriyama's shallow writing. He did direct and co-write both games. The thing about X-2 was that I didn't like X, so the "enjoyment" of exploring Spira post-Sin was completely lost on me because I frankly didn't care. Kind of kills the narrative when the player doesn't give a damn.
  9. I still think X2 is better than X There's also a part of me that expects to like XIII better than X, because for some weird reason X has millions of devoted fans while everyone and their mother hates XIII, when X was still a very stupid, shallow mess.
  10. You're more stubborn than me, after X-2, I vowed never to play a sequel to an FF I didn't like. Didn't save me from RW but I can honestly say I don't feel like I missed out with XIII-2 and LR.
