  1. I agree that Luke Cage lost a little bit at the end, but I'm okay with it.

I'll watch the other shows when I have time. Yesterday Supergirl was almost killed by Livewire because that could happen, and a few episodes ago, she was trapped in quick sand until she froze it with her breath. Yep.

I keep waiting for Power Girl to show back up.
  2. Luke Cage was great up until they killed off Cottonmouth and replaced him with the out-of-nowhere hammy brother. Then it kind of fell apart for me, a few good episodes aside. Iron Fist didn't even have the chance to fall apart, because I hated it unironically from the get-go and it just got worse as it went on; as I told Ashton, 25% of the reason I'm looking forward to The Defenders is to watch the heroes from the good shows kick Danny's scrawny punk ass. I haven't watched Supergirl because I've heard... mixed reviews.

So you haven't watched the best ones for each? Let me advise you on your next binge-watches then. The best Marvel shows are Daredevil (the second season, which is the "Elektra" thing you're thinking of, is weaker than the first, but still has a lot going for it) and Jessica Jones, which is a masterpiece with only a few pacing flaws. The best things to come out of DC are Arrow (which gets off to a slow start, but gets progressively better throughout the first season and is perfect by the second) and the first season -- only the first season -- of The Flash, which crosses over a few times with the third season of Arrow, so I'd recommend watching them concurrently. They're everything you like about Supergirl, but way more consistent and genuinely good.

This has been KK's Geeky Recommendation Hour.
  3. Luke Cage is pretty good. Definitely not perfect, but lives up to its serious atmosphere by being mostly well written.

Ironfist and Supergirl are both terri-good. Massive plot-to-character's-abilities inconsistencies, and corny acting. I still like them both.

I haven't watched much else. I've heard Flash and Electra are good? I've always liked Electra's character.

I find it interesting the the Marvel shows are dark and the movies are more light, and DC seems to be doing the opposite. Especially with over the top gritty, dark movies. The DC movies are just actively bad.
  4. So Ashton tells me snobbishly that you watch the Netflix Marvel shows and at least one CW comic show (Supergirl). Let's talk about that because she refuses to discuss them with me >.<
