  1. I blame Franz Conrad von Hötzendorf.
  2. Not responsible?! Do you blame the Serbs and their nationalistic nonsense? Or maybe the black hand for their terrorism? I suppose the blame for them could go back to the Serbian government supporting the operations. Maybe you blame Russia? If they hadn't rushed troops to the borders you may have felt a bit safer. Its hard to feel safe about Russia though, with their crazy national growth and the appearance their military is that strong. I suppose if you do that, you'll have to blame France as well, what with their troops on the opposite border. It IS pretty convenient to blame England though. If they had just said right out that they're gonna jump in if you invade France instead of waffling about you wouldn't have been so confident in your assurances to Austro-Hungaria that it would be an easy, good time. Maaaaybe you could blame that empire, but are not their actions really your fault all along? Do you think America ever feels left out? Nobody ever blames them for WWI.
  3. The year is 1926. The place is Arkham, Massachusetts. Gateways to places horrible beyond imagination are opening up all over town, releasing hideous creatures into the streets to stalk the night. Worse yet, if enough of these gates open up, then a creature of unfathomable power will be unleashed on the world.

Pitted against these overwhelming odds is a small band of investigators determined to beat back the uncaring forces of the universe. They'll have to delve deep into the mysteries of the Mythos and use all of their skills, weapons, and spells if they want to have even a slim chance of success.

    The classic Lovecraftian adventure returns.
