Well, the point is to have fun, so there's no use in doing it if it's something you are just going to overanalyze! I've seen some pretty harsh criticisms of various cosplayers though, people can be really mean about it.

I'd be a bit of a perfectionist and I'd at want to look something like what I was doing I have terrible self-confidence issues so I'd feel really bad.
