  1. Well he's a cyborg kinda that has been corrupted by nanobots and he was already crazy but the nanobots want to continue living and have perfect cellular specimens. So he consumes their blood to get the DNA. Nanobots said," I need their DNA", he heard, "eat them" cause he's loony. He's convinced he'll become a god like perfect human doing this.

Nanobots are outlawed in this world. Well besides simplistic ones used for health. Body modification ones like this are a no go for reasons such as this.

I just don't know how he is draining blood, cutting off hands, and making footage black out. Something to do with the nanobots but idk how.
  2. So are you trying to figure out how the murderer is killing people?
  3. Yeah I know who the bad guy is and I know who the red herring is and all that nonsense. It's just I think I overcomplicated it for myself.
  4. So do you have an ending in mind?
  5. Yeah that's true. I think i've written myself into a corner right now. "Oh this murder happened and we have no clues in a world where there should be clues everywehre!" I don't have a reason why there isn't clues, there isn't blood, there is a msising hand but no idea how it happened. NO footage. And I'm like "uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" My serial killer has crazy nanobots but uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
  6. Don't you hate that? I think that's why I stopped doing that because I would start revising before I was even done. I usually read just the last few paragraphs to get back into the mood.
  7. I'm aiming for 80k at least. I'm at 10k for this nano novel so I have a ways to go haha. I was reading over things to get myself back into the flow and i'm like "oh god this is horrible"
  8. Thank you! What about your story, any specific goals?
  9. So no set goal like "80k words!" or anything just going for as far as you can see it going. Sounds like a lot of work but I believe in you!
  10. I'm kind of winging it. My chapters are short but they tend to stick to a mood so it works out. I'm about 40k with the rewrite at the moment and still have a long way to go. I'm probably 1/5th of the way through the whole story and frankly that number is murky because only half of the story is pretty much set in stone while the second half isn't o neatly planned out so that number can balloon up.
