Hmm, interesting. I've watched the first P3 movie but then decided I probably wanted to just play the game instead. But if they turn out to be a pretty good adaptation they might be worth considering I suppose...
I've watched the P4 anime series and I liked it, but here's the kicker - my wife only thought it was okay when she watched it, but now that she's played the game she loves the story and characters, which she just didn't feel in the anime. So I guess the show is only really good if you've played the game before. The Golden animation is kind of a companion anime, adding just all the additional things from the updated rerelease. I heard the movies are really good, but I haven't seen them yet. I don't like to wait too long between installments, so I'm waiting until they're all out so we can watch them in succession.
On that note, do you know anything about the P3 movies and P4 Golden anime series?
Well, yeah, that's true. You might just want to wait then, but ultimately it's all just my opinion
Huh, is that so. From all I've heard I was going to wait until I got a chance to play Portable, which is a problem because I don't have any portable systems, while 4 I can just play on my PS2.
You should start with 3, though It's one of those games where it's tougher to come back after a later installment, even though it's actually better.
I'm noticing my overall attention span has declined. If I were to play Persona 3 I'd be afraid I might actually stall it. That being said I'll probably get and play Persona 4 soon.
Ahaha oh my god you're right. Somehow we both managed to miscount. Although in that case - tracing it back to what made me first think a person was missing - the "three people" obscured from Ram's view by Jade's hair would actually just be two people.
Now that I've recalculated it (I was really tired yesterday evening), I think I did actually introduce 12 characters! Ram, Ashley, Jade - 3 The Dugalls - 3 De Silva, Van, Asian guy - 3 Bauer Bros. and boa woman - 3 12! Turns out I didn't miss anyone after all
Haha, don't worry about it. At least now you're aware of it I'm really looking forward to seeing how it unfolds, and I'll definitely give it my best shot. I've actually been reading a classic mystery novel (Carr's The Three Coffins) lately and I'm totally stuck on figuring out how it was done, so maybe trying to solve Bauer Island will give me some sort of epiphany for that one xD
