:O I didn't even see that you left me a user note a couple months ago! Perdido Street Station... I'm really bummed about that book. I made it half way through, and totally lost it. No freaking clue where it could have gone. So I've been forced to move on to Forest Mage, by Robin Hobb. I hope I find that book before I forget everything that happened. ;_;
Perdido Street Station is an amazing book. I thought it dragged in parts (it is like 600 PAGES OR SOMETHING) but it's so...well, what you said in the thread worked. It's weird. It almost reminds me of something Neil Gaiman would write; Neverwhere-ish. The Weaver is also the best character ever. :D Sorry, I'm just excited that someone else is reading this!
