I'll just stomach it for now. Hopefully it won't go into next week. Yep. Whether it's Omega or Omega Mk. II in Final Fantasy V, the Lunar Ruins in IV, or The Labyrinth of Time in FFI PSP, I should be able to help out.
That is quite a dick move for them to pull. You'd think your supposed last day would be a little lighter on work to ensure you finish on time and can be set free. I wonder if there's any recourse for you there. Probably too much effort but it would be interesting to know your rights. Sounds like you're a bit of an expert on the first half of the FF series. That's always handy to keep in the back of my mind. I don't often find myself stuck but when it happens it's nice to know there's a physical person to talk to instead of consulting a guide.
Yeah, I'm okay with the payrate. Still, the fact that my employer and I signed a legal document saying that the end of my employment would be Sept. 28, 2012, and her dumping a load of work on me on the afternoon of that day without warning really angers me. I'd be more than happy to help you out with SoR when the time comes. Actually, from FFs 1-7 I should be able to help you out with anything.
That seems okay from what I know of US pay scales. Certainly nothing to be overjoyed with though, you still have to work hard for less than the other people you're working with. I'll have to come bother you if I need any assistance once I get stuck into the Soul of Rebirth. I'm glad you reminded me of that fantastic technique known as save stepping, it'll save my bacon for sure!
It pays $13.50 an hour, so I'm not sure if that's well paying or not. That must really suck working a ridiculous amount of hours without pay. You don't even get minimum wage or anything. I suppose I shouldn't be complaining when I look at your situation. For Soul of Rebirth, the Unknown Cave should be easy enough, even if you didn't get Minwu and Josef equipment from Mysidia (Mythril Equipment or even Copper and Bronze should work well for Minwu and Josef). The Unknown Palace will practically always require a bit of grinding for. But you can actually get away with barely any grinding if you're able to save step your way to everyone's ultimate weapons (and beat the bosses that guard them). That way everyone (except for Minwu) will get 99 strength from their best weapons and random encounters will be a breeze (if their defense is too high, just cast Berserk 16 with Scott's Wild Rose).
Are they paying you well at this job? Co-op would be very tough, but if you're getting okay money then I guess it's worth the struggle in the short term. I'm not looking forward to going back for my last two weeks of internships mostly because I get to work a 40 hour+ week for free. Sucks so hard xD I really need to get back into playing FFII so I can actually do the Soul of Rebirth. I had a save file on the GBA version that was close to the end of the game and then I lent it to a buddy who stupidly saved over the first slot and not in the two smurfing empty ones
Wow, so much good stuff happening in your life. I'm quite envious. Besides power levelling in FFII PSP SoR and still chugging away at my college co-op job (which was extended past the 16 week term just today, which I'm quite upset about), I haven't been up to much.
Quite a few things! I've just come back from a week long trip to visit o_O and Fujiko. I have a couple of concerts to attend in the next couple months, my birthday is in something like 15 days, I'm only a few weeks away from graduating uni and I'm about to get stuck into Borderlands 2 which I am hoping will entertain me immensely! How about you, sir? Been keeping busy I hope!
I suppose so. So anything you're looking forward to? Whether it's upcoming games, movies, or events you'll be attending?
The good old days, man. There has to be a way to launch a new golden age.
