I can get to the seventh phase of that round, myself-- the one called "Everlasting 'Phoenix Tail'". Don't worry, that stage is completely option and is only for people who are good at the game. You can play on easy and learn how to play relatively fast. That's what I did.

Kind of like this. Don't worry, that's on fast forward until the person gets to the mini-boss and boss. And no, the game isn't actually that intense, that's just the extra-hard stage you unlock when you beat the original game.
