I played it quite a lot at college last year and it's really fun and easy to get into. Combos are much easier to pull off (especially implementing special moves into combos) and the AI is much more reasonable and fun to play against (nothing like the rubber band AI in the first three games). My favourites are Liu Kang, Sub-Zero, and Kabal.
I especially like the sig. I wish I could play the latest MK, but I don't even have money for the system. Of course, if I could stand the smell at my cousin's place, I'm sure they'll own within the next couple of days.
