Oh it don't snow here. A few days ago, I got news from my parents they saw the largest hale they'd seen. Like, what, 2-3 centimeters... it rains hard though. Back in 2010, I was up in Canada until October. It was cold and the windows fogged up and there was frost on the ground. But it didn't get cold enough to snow. I wish I had stayed longer, but I had to come back for my mom's birthday. I'm still working on escaping my dad's curse of being a total momma's boy. In his case, it's never even paid off, he just gets used left and right by my grandmother. Her attitude, her smoking, her treatment of her own dog, her choice in friends, it all makes me sick. But I'm way into "do not discuss" territory. The gift-giving tradition is nearly the same for us. Except we give all the gifts to extended family during the visiting days before Christmas. We're so tired by the time spent away from home that when we get back the presents we open in the morning are like our bonus.
