Yeah, I'm a freelance writer. I've been doing it since 2004. It's tough to do & the money is often tit if the work is paid at all (I do tend to do some volunteer work if it'll secure myself a reference) I mean, not all the money is but I can be offered £600 for 2 hours work or £600 for 6 weeks work. I'm tempted to go back in to the developing realm with the successor to the game I originally worked upon but I'm unsure. It has a massive impact on life for me. I just went on a date with a really pretty girl who I really liked during our meal together & am hoping she wants to see me again. I'm not looking to mess things up with her by getting sucked back in to the work that I don't have time to see her as often as she wishes to be seen. Also unlike before I am working a full time job so work in a store + prospective girlfriend + game dev would be bad for my health & mental health I reckon. Guess I am going to see where the cards fall on it.
