Yeah, I live in the most isolated state in Australia, basically. We often miss out on the few tours that do come to Australia. That's why I basically cried tears of joy when Rush announced a tour during the dates I'm in USA.
Oh yeah, I forgot you were Australian for some reason. It is beneficial being Canadian if you want to see a Canadian band I suppose. The funny thing is though that they barely play in Canada because most places don't have arenas big enough. And driving to Montreal, while fun, is kind of brutal. It's about nine hours on the road from here, and almost half of that is spent in Quebec. Quebec drivers are frightening in how terrible and insane they are.
Fairy nuff. Must be nice to have the option. They've never been to Australia even after all this time. Their such a mob of teasers. But whatever, if the mountain won't got to Mohammed etc. etc. >: D
Good eye sight? I wanted to get tickets to go see Rush in Montreal this tour. Last time I saw them was on the 30th anniversary tour, and my wife has never seen them and wanted to quite a bit. Unfortunately she's been off work for the summer so it just wasn't going to happen money wise. Since none of them have dropped dead yet though I imagine we'll get another shot at seeing them.
Yeah, but the bell is wafer thin in that picture >_< Also, are you seeing Rush on their most recent tour? I have tickets to see them while in America. Which is a huge deal for me!
Seriously, I own the cymbal and I would barely recognise that I'm playing a HHX in that pic. Any drummer would agree this is rep worthy. Ha! The raw bell kind of gives it away. Plenty of those running around in that line. I'll admit that it took me a second to pick up on the larger hammer marks. If they were even slightly less noticeable I wouldn't have been sure at all.
Eh, Neil Peart basically sells himself! It's just about getting the message out there!
