  1. Hey I just sent you the document in an email (XXX.XXX@mail.utoronto.ca)
  2. I may not enjoy the work, but I am good at it and generally like helping people. Actually, teaching people accounting was one thing I did really enjoy in University (the teaching portion more than anything really). If you still want me to take a look I wouldn't mind taking a glance at it. You can just email it to me if you want. emperor.gestahl@gmail.com
  3. Actually you don't have to worry about it. I think I got this under my belt. And I forgot you don't really enjoy accounting work.
  4. So you know your stuff! Hey weird how this worked out, but I got assigned a case analysis. And I was wondering if you could take a look at it and advise me on how to approach it. I really need to get a great mark, or else I will cry. Haha
  5. I'm almost finished my required experience hours to become a chartered accountant. The pay itself is all right. Nothing to write home about until after you finish your designation. People starting in the program around here will generally make around $32-34,000 a year until they finish the program. Salaries usually jump up $5,000 or so minimum as soon as you pass your exam for example. It's better than minimum wage mind you, and that's really just at accounting firms. Once you have your designation you can work pretty much anywhere, and depending on how successful the company is or if you go into government you can make a lot more.

It's long hours during the spring though with plenty of work and lot's of deadlines. Summer and fall are usually pretty light though and less stressful.
  6. But the pay has to be good, so what are you certified as? I am looking to work in that field, or mental health. It's up in the air, or even as an economist! Hell I can get lucky and be a lawyer.
  7. There's really nothing wrong with it if you enjoy that kind of work and find a good place to work with good people. I've got the latter of that, but I just don't enjoy the work anymore like I used to. I just don't find it that fulfilling anymore, so I'm trying to gradually find a way out of it.
  8. So I guess you would have negative feedback when asked "How is it?"

  10. That's what my business cards would say if they ever got around to ordering me some. I'm trying to get out of it.
