  1. Ruth's parts are a little slow (while I do understand the importance of her parts, don't get me wrong) but Noa's parts are just beautiful. I'm so glad you're enjoying it! It really resonated with me in a significant way.
  2. Just started A Tale For The Time Being, I'm like 70 or so pages in, I can already tell that this could actually become one of my favourite books ever. I just have a feeling!
  3. *squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee*
  4. I have both of those books you suggested now and just have to finish current book I'm reading and then they will be read! Thank you
  5. Definitely tears shed!

During the first part I never would have guessed Laurie and Amy ending up together! That was a nice surprise.

Haruki Murakami is my favourite author recently, he's done some great books. Also he's Japanese and I am moving to Japan in like a year or so and love to read about it! But his books are sometimes very sureal also and I like that. Just ordered Norwegian Wood by him, pretty sure it will be great.
  6. You won't be sorry! Recently, one of the better books I read is The Light Between Oceans. So good!

Yeah, it's like Beth's monologue says: you never really got the feeling of permanency with her, which is sad, because she's so sweet and wonderful. But the bit after Beth had died about how she had gone home and was no longer in pain was beautiful.
  7. I really expected something horrible to happen to her, I really did. I was so glad when she started to get better! I was expecting something horrible to happen all the way through, really. I'm not used to reading nice books!

I have ordered both of those! So I'll read when they come, however soon Amazon decides to give them up to me.
  8. Wow, you read like me: extremely fast! It really is beautiful, isn't it? Poor little Beth.

I gotta stick with my previous recommendations: Love in the Time of Cholera and A Tale for the Time Being. If you've ever been bullied or thought about killing yourself, A Tale for the Time Being will catch your heart.
  9. As am I! Oh Jinxy, you have warmed my heart!

I just finished Little Women about 20 minutes ago, what a smashing book. Thank you for recommending it! Have you any other suggestions, as you have the most impeccable taste
  10. I am so glad you are my son now.

Also, I hope you like my new location.
