FFXII! My favorite! I so wish I could replay it, but I don't have my PS2 here. Have you tried the Persona series? They're really awesome. I'd also recommend Digital Devil Saga, though that's just a teensy bit on the difficult side.
I'll totally try it out tomorrow, thanks. Well at the moment I'm replaying through FFXII, but I'm not getting much of a chance to play due to work and planning holidays and stuff. Don't suppose you could recommend any RPG's for the PS2 that are worth trying? Haven't bought a new game in ages, and RPG-wise I'm only up to snuff on the FF games. Feel like it's time to broaden my palate.

Man, that's so good. Novel too? Seriously, comparing skills now, I can't compete! But for something I can relate to is your friend leaving - I don't think I'd handle my best friend leaving the country. At least he's close by, right? Ok, you have to teach me how to greet people in German. Not just "hello", but something I can walk into work and say that will blow peoples mind-holes.
I do speak a couple! I'm bilingual Polish-English, but I also speak German and just a little bit Japanese. My wife speaks Spanish and French, on the other hand, so we have quite a bit of coverage. About that friend thing... Yeah I never expected I'd feel this close a bond with another guy. But still, nothing's set in stone yet. He may just yet stay and we have two more years to find a good enough reason for that. Even if he does leave, I know the friendship will last. Oh, I would so love to travel, but that will have to wait. For now, I'm really working on my writing. I'm writing a novel and I also have a writing blog where I post shorter stories. Hoping something good comes off it someday
I read in The Rant Thread about some of the issues you touched upon. I feel ya dude, if my best friend was leaving the country, man I'd be lost. I didn't know you were a student...and I certainly didn't know you lived in Poland and had a wife! So, can you speak like multiple languages, because I'm super jel if you can. The most I can speak is a little Welsh...badly. I work for a college in Data Compliance. Basically I imput words and numbers onto a computer, and look busy when managers walk past. Boring job but good pay. I plan on giving it up in a couple of months though and going travelling for (hopefully) a long time. You got any plans for the near future?

And exams are coming up! I don't know if you knew this, but I'm a student. I have a BA in English and now on my first year of MA studies, studying Polish-English-German translation.
