Conversation Between Vincent, Thunder God and blim

  1. I believe that a true appreciation of Zappa intails the enjoyment of both divergent sides of his music - both the humor and the excellent compisitional prowess, which didn't often gel perfectly but provided many more dimensions to his music. So basically I think both his humor and serious composition are great.
  2. My favourite album by far is Hot Rats. I prefer Frank's serious, instrumental side to his humorous side, even though I do find some of his parody/satire material enjoyable.

    Some other personal favourites:

    2. Studio Tan
    3. The Grand Wazoo
    4. One Size Fits All
    5. Burnt Weeny Sandwich (the best original MOI album IMO)
  3. in response to the question on my user notes:

    Dude, this was classic.

It's always good to see some people feeding back the staff their own often-repeated advice when they don't follow it themselves. I laughed with glee when I read that, seriously.

She was being pretty rude to Traffic in the first place too, and then she went on and on about it.
