my wife's family is (for the majority) domincan, so i was doing a lot of hip dancing and by the end of the night i felt old and feeble. that and i only know maybe two dances to begin with
Ha, fair play. I got a sore ankle and just let everyone dance with her... I don't like dancing anyway (still managed my way through at least four dances, urgh) and I love watching her dance, so it was win-win for me. ...aside from the really sore ankle. >_< My aunty Joan whacked it so hard when she didn't know it was sore and ohhhhhh, the pain!
essentially people will pay a dollar (or dollars) to dance with either the bride or groom for a song. i didn't dance with anyone other than my new wife
