  1. Idk, Cadence of Hyrule feels like an action game that you just have to play in a rhythm, while this basically feels like Theatrhythm but more things happen on screen. In the end you’re still just pressing the buttons the game tells you to when it tells you to.
  2. It's just weird because it's trying to be a rhythm game while also trying to still be an action game. It's a bit like Cadence of Hyrule in that regard but more jarring to me.
  3. I mean, I probably would’ve liked something more similar to Theatrhythm, but I’ll take it.
  4. I honestly wished MoM was more like TheaterRhythm. Its less intuitive than I would like.
  5. I’m honestly looking forward to MoM far more than I am to III. Theatrhythm was a treasure and I’ve wanted a KH Theatrhythm for ages
  6. I think it's too weird even for some of the hardcore fans. The demo was a bit weird.

I've reached the Hunchback world in 3D for both characters. Finally got some better item drops and I'm finally playing with some different DEs. Sora is rocking the Dog Cat, a snake with feet, and a flower. Riku has a Ram, the snake thing, and the Bat. I think the most obnoxious part of the DEs is how some of their skills are hidden behind specific personality traits. It was neat the first time around, now I just don't want to switch out any of my mons in case I can shift their personality to learn more skills. I also hope to get some of Riku's personal moves, and I hope Sora's actually start improving because Spark is a lousy spell.
  7. I’m totally getting my tinfoil hat for this, but isn’t it interesting how Melody of Memory abbreviates to MoM, just like Master of Masters? Miraculously, I am somehow completely unspoiled on that game.
  8. The tropes page makes it sound so interesting.

I also find it amusing that the Master of Masters Theme from KH3 sounds like a Bloodborne boss theme.
  9. For me it really is just the mini games that makes the DE tedious, I’m really fine with all the other aspects of them and don’t even mind we get them instead of regular party members. The fact you need to repeat these three mini games over and over was just ugh.

I think a remake is inevitable, but also consider the fact that the game will be kept alive by SE until it brings money, and it will likely do so for a long time. I literally wish it had come out as any other type of game because I just can never focus on these, and watching a summary of the story never works for me either
  10. I'm kind of hoping that whenever it finishes, Nomra might be willing to either make a shorter version that cuts out all the filler for a new KH collection when KH4 comes out in 2040, or maybe do a remake that changes it to a more traditional entry.

I don't dislike the DE but I can see why they are frustrating for most. My biggest gripe is how you have to craft them. I'd rather have a catching mechanic or something simpler.
