Read some of the threads from when it first came out. It was pretty brutal. I agree though, I feel it has a strong cast and excellent story. It had a very stage performance quality to it.

Hey I squeal whenever they show up too. Especially the scene where Fran goes berserk from the Mist and just starts wrecking the place while Balthier is just shooting out cheesy one liners. Glorious.
They are simply the greatest. They make me so happy. I recently started replaying FFXII and when they came on the screen for the first time I audibly squealed. What a girl.
