Heh, actually I have listened 65daysofstatic before. Yes, they are pretty good, but they can't compare to Explosions. I like their use of electronic sounds, very distinctive. I'm sure you've heard of them before (probably from The Man ), but Godspeed You is really really amazing. I think they're probably my favorite band at the moment. So yeah, listen to them if you haven't already.
Yeah, if you like Explosions you may want to try out 65daysofstatic. Try the album "Fall of Math". It's nowhere near as sweeping and epic as some Explosions songs (esp. Yasmin the Light) but it deserves a look in its own light.

Hells yeah, Explosions makes me feel all gooey inside. Right about now they're the soundtrack to my life. Yasmin The Light is my favorite song of theirs too, although Six Days At The Bottom Of The Ocean is a close second.
