Liking the new name!
Haha, that's good
Denmark's parents are both pretty cool. Especially when they take us out to dinner and pay.
I went to lunch with sharky's mom. She is the sweetest, nicest lady, but socializing for hours is not my thing. Lunch turned in to 4-5hours and I was actually physically sick afterwards. I felt bad because she's so nice though xD
Ha, thankfully they're not TOO bad since I moved. My mom and I had kind of a weird fight over the summer, but that's good now. Christmas is coming up, though...
Sorry, Sam Well if you ever need to vent, I know all about crap families
I don't either. I mean, my mom certainly hasn't always been great. And she has some serious mental issues that she's left unchecked because she doesn't think anything's wrong with her. So that's really frustrating. Still, she's mostly been a pretty good mom. A lot better mom than most people I know. My dad was horrible, though.
Yeah you can cut people out in adulthood, but as a child you're kind of stuck with it except in extreme circumstances But yeah that pretty crap :/. I'll never understand parents being crap to their children
I mean, it slightly is, but yeah. And by that, I mean, you can cut people out. It infuriates my mother that I don't want anything to do with HER mother. Which is surprising, since a lot of the reason I want nothing to do with her is because of how she's treated my mom for most of her life. It's kind of a minor thing, but in May 2013 my mom finally got her Bachelor's degree. She graduated as Salutatorian. My grandparents didn't applaud for her at all. The first thing they did when they found her in the foyer was complain about how they had to drive a few hours to see her--which, they were only a few hours away because they decided to go on vacation knowing that was the weekend she graduated. They almost missed it. They're horrible people.
Messed up family's suck. Especially since its not your choice
