Well he should stop passing his clients onto me if he's hurting for work! Be proactive to secure customers, that's the best way. I learnt that in one of my business classes in school, or maybe Em told me that one. I don't know, but either way it makes me a far better retailer regardless of what I'm peddling.
You're just a ball of fascination for me. PS--Phil's all offended I didn't ask him to make any sigs for me.
You took it the right way then! I have a lot of those weird mannerisms. Yesterday a friend told me I was spending too much time with [one of the englishmen]. I... probably have to agree. Albeit I don't spend much time with him currently, but I did spend far too much time with him previously and now I have all sorts of weird british quips. It does make my speech far more interesting though.
well that's the world we live in! Also, I always took "half four" to mean 4:30.
Apparently it's a british thing and grates horribly in certain languages where the terminology for "half four" would actually mean 3:30. Stupid foreign languages Sounds pretty bad, but it's not as if we haven't had that before. Went a couple years without crops being able to grow and then a couple years where it rained so hard everything died too
I forget it IS winter there. It's cute how you say "half four." Lalalalala It has been brutal, and it's only supposed to get hotter. Also, there's a drought going on because there isn't any rain. All of this year's corn and soy crops have died. So, it's seriously bad.
Half four is generally borderline night time here. Pretty much counts because what with all the rain you don't really see the sunlight at all. I feel like we're in a warmer England, and that's really depressing. But it's just a pain to drive all the way up there especially as I was just up the coast this morning. Can't spend 10 hours sitting around doing nothing though. That's a lot of drought. Probably should bring in some water restrictions except oh no there's too many people who need to wash their huge pick ups every day That's pretty damn warm though, for ten days straight. Generally we'll get a storm every couple of days and the rain drops the temperature a good couple degrees but yeah, that's brutal.
You train at night? Well, if it makes you feel better, 85% of the US is in an official drought. It's been 43C here for the last 10 days. Make the most of your winter. Also, I will come cook for you.
Pretty tired. Forgot to buy eggs so hungry too. Went to buy some stuff today and the stores were either not in stock or closed down entirely so it's been anticlimactic. Just wish it would rain really really hard so I don't have to go to training tonight, feeling super lethargic and ugh.
YEAH YEAH IT IS OKAY :I How are you, love?
