  1. Well, sure. That's what makes snark buckets funny. Type A personality plus sarcasm equals lots of funny arguments. Also, allow me to nerd out on my character for a sec.

You had her cast some wind magic, which is perfectly fine, but you had her pull out a crystal to do it. They're actually separate dabbles for her. Dabbles are what witches call their different families of magical arts. You have good magics and bad magics (and some in between), so depending on which magics a witch focuses on and how she uses them determines if she's a good witch or a bad witch. xD Some many cliches.

There's actually wind crystals, so it's inconsequential really, but most likely Frix would have just summoned the wind using weather magic instead of a crystal. I'm totally not upset or anything, just felt like being a nerd!
  2. You think? xD Sigrid's a bit more focused on her dislike of Horamus at the moment, but I could see it. Frixl and Sigrid are both snark buckets. xD
  3. Ooohhhhh, I think they're going to but heads for a while. They both speak their mind, and don't sugar coat. Eventually they'll work it out though, you're right.
  4. I don't know about you, but I can really see Frixl and Sigrid being good friends.
  5. thank you! i'm not sure when i'll attempt it because we've got like six inches of snow sitting on the ground. xD
  6. Okay, here you go.

Remember this patch depends on your window's failure issue centering around the regulator and/or the cables. If it's another reason, and the shop that looked at it got thediagnosis wrong, then you may have to come back to me and describe the situation better so I can see if there's another cheap fix.

You'll have to do some of your own investigation work to make sure before you go cutting certain things, just to be safe.

However, if it is broken the way it sounds like it's broken, with some time and a few basic tools you've got a window that is back up and will stay up a good long time. Just saw a friend of mine who has a window I fixed this way about a year ago. It's still holding up fine.
  7. Yeah, I read about that! Sucks, man!

And don't worry about it. You're the one doing me a favor, so I'm not too worried.
  8. Hopefully I can make that video this week. I need to scrounge up some pieces to use for visual aids, and set aside the time to do it. It was going to be started today, but you can thank certain vendors and parts manufacturers for eating up the spare time.
  9. You are seriously the best.
  10. Okay, what I'll try to do when I have a moment is make a video of roughly how the process would work, and throw it up on youtube or something. That way you and/or Rob can watch it over and over if you need or pause it, etc.
