Skies of Arcadia, Soul Caliber, Power Stone, and Resident Evil: Code Veronica. Whilst this is indeed an admirable list... it's lacking Shenmue

Careful who you make friends with. Fujiko may seem like a sweet, innocent woman, but she's a poacher! She habitually slices my fin off just to make soup! I die every time. It's cruel, I'm endangered already, and I think she's just plain sadistic.
