Hahah, yes! I highly recommend FFXII! It's a beautiful game :3 Ah, yeah, there's a definite learning curve. Once you learn how to use some of the features though, you'll figure everything else out in no time at all, and you can do pretty much anything with it.
Yesss. I'll be sure to stop by for a visit. Then we could jam! And eat cookies, mostly eat cookies. I'll have to pick up a copy. Hell, I've been meaning to pick up a copy of XII as well. Haha. I'm behind on video games. I actually got my hands on a copy of it, but it was too confusing. I ended up going with Ableton Live 8 or whatever because another friend of mine uses it. I may look back into Cakewalk though once I get serious about recording.
Well, I have no problem with it, and I'm sure that Jesswee would be fine with sharing with you if you were here! I recommend it if you dig really deep stories with nice, fleshed-out characters. It's all story though. It's very linear. Because of the linearity, the developers spent a lot more time on the story. It's beautiful. Nice! Then maybe you could find Cakewalk!
Lucky! I want cookies. Nice! Recommend it then? Oh, yeah. That's exactly what I had in mind, I have my computer now that will last me for a couple of years of casual use, I just need something to record with.
We have lots of cookies; Jessica's parents sent a giant box of cookies to her for her birthday, which was just about a week ago. They are wonderful. WE JUST FINISHED FFXIII AND IT WAS BEAUTIFUL. What you should do is buy a new computer with a little more power than you'd need to deal with the software (because the hardware will handle pretty much everything other than storage), and dedicate that computer solely to music, not of the listening sort, but of the recording sort.
smurf yeah, cookies. Haha, don't worry about it. Spend all the time with her that you'd like. But yeah, no reason at all. I have some stuff to take care of before getting into that stage as well, probably should get myself a bitchin' computer to handle everything too.
Unite and have cookies! There's no reason in shelling out the cash for it if you can't even use it, right? So, I found the software, but I won't invest in the hardware until I have steady income and the rest of my bills paid off and all of that real world jazz. Sorry that I disappeared like that! Jesswee and I have been waiting to play FFXIII together, and now that she's here, we bought it! So we've been doing that constantly for the past week XD
Lol, cheapskates unite. Yeah, I don't even have a good recording mic, I'm not going to drop a lot of money for ProTools. Maybe I'll invest in some good equipment down the line when I actually want to get more serious.
Hahah, yeah, that was the deciding factor for me too. I actually have all of the software for ProTools, but I can't run it without the hardware
Oh, well I guess that makes the decision for me. Thanks!
