yeah, I'd have to agree. When you're out there in such a scenic place, you just gotta soak it in. Your tale also inspired me to just get off my ass and go for a run then. Nothing quite like a 4am mosey around the neighbourhood
We originally intended to run it but after 10 minutes of having to stare at our feet to make sure we didn't trip we realized that we were missing all of the scenery and quickly decided to hike it so we could enjoy the adventure. I might go back and try to run it in a couple of years to see what that's like.
Yeah, that makes sense. Glad you didn't twist an ankle or anything, which is always my worry. I feel like I should add that race to my dream events list and see if I can make it one day!
I was sore for a couple of days afterward. The bottoms of my feet hurt more than anything else from walking that long on rocky trails.
It sounds like one of the most gruelling events, a combination of intensity and endurance. How long afterwards were you feeling that one for? Even with proper care of yourself, I bet it was one you'll never forget!
That was definitely a yolo moment, lol.
Glad to hear CT on Android is making you smile! I've not actually played it myself; it was only released on DS a few years ago and was too pricey for me, so I'm hoping to pick up a version that I can play wherever I go!
I hope your feet are especially swift from this birthday until the next!
Ah, you are a genius! No wonder you are such a successful bandit of el bacon
I would hire a stunt double.
