Again, you leave me speechless. Seriously, the power of your words is no match for the drivel that I spew out :/ Personally I find your words to be on par with those that you have quoted there. Hell, they compliment them and give the whole thing more meaning.
Were only my words as talented as these: Foamfollower's question caught him wandering. "Are you a storyteller, Thomas Covenant?" Absently, he replied, "I was, once." "And you gave it up? Ah, that is as sad a tale in three words as any you might have told me. But a life without a tale is like a sea without salt. How do you live?" [...] "I live." "Another?" Foamfollower returned. "In two words, a story sadder than the first. Say no more—with one word you will make me weep." I do find re-telling the saddest tales to be the most heart-warming; to make muscle stronger, you must first break it, yes? So it follows for my heart.
Uh, wow. I'm lost for words... I guess I didn't expect such an intense response, I'm both saddened by your tales, and yet somehow inspired by your honesty and elegant writing. You've gone and confused my emotions good sir!
As a devoted roleplayer in online fora, I came from the Gamer's Alliance in order to bring the practice to Eyes on Final Fantasy. When I first started the Daisuke Subplot thread in the Root Beer forum, all hell broke loose and the Knights intervened with unfortunate results before amends could be made. Knights, it should be noted, are horrible as game moderators in a co-operatively written roleplaying game based on mutual trust and joviality. Long story short, the Yamatian Duke's Palace remained unexplored as participation withered like so many leaves under assault of Agent Orange. I immediately headed back to my original board roots and planned on never coming back until tGA tanked. So I came here until Raistlin revived it. And then it promptly tanked again. Came here, went back, and the cycle continued until I gave up roleplaying stories altogether and, lo and behold, years passed. I think I came to this cesspit to forget paradise lost.
I'm curious, how/why did you become a part of Eyeson?
