One of my former co-workers just became a legally ordained atheist minister.

Literally anyone can become a legally ordained minister by filling out a web form from themonastery.org.

I considered doing the same thing myself, but I am not, at present, sufficiently intoxicated.

    Isn't it so you can Wed your friends/family?

    I know if I ever get Married I don't want a religious ceremony and I won't be having any religious vows. So having an Atheist do the ceremony would be great. But then surely a Minister would be a Religious aspect to the wedding anyway.... oh ho hum.

    It is kinda of misleading since he's a minister of a church but he himself is atheist, not that he is minister to some atheist ministry/church.

    I question how "anyone" can be an atheist minister. "Anyone".

    Would I want just "anyone" being the minister at my wedding?
