Forever and a day now i've always had to use my brothers 360. Of course he would never allow me to play too long so it's a wonder I finished ME2 and AC2. Well he moved so I was completely xbox-less. Well I now have 3 jobs and while I have bills to pay off I really wanted to use some of it on myself so I bought a new 360 today. (technically it isn't new it's a refurbished one but w/e)

OTHER THAN HALO, what are some games I should pick up? Please eoff gamer nerds, help me out! I have been pretty out of the 360 loop for quiet some time. I was able to play a few fairly recently (like 5 months ago recent) but overall I haven't played many.

    Well. You pretty much got me there. Halo is a darn good game, and if you don't like it you should PLAY it and listen to the pretty music. Honestly? If you don't like the game because of Chief, play Reach. It's emotional though... it almost made me cry. Uuuhh... now are you looking for just solid 360 games? Because if not... here's a list:

    Dead Space
    Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
    Fallout 3
    Viva Pinata Trouble In Paradise
    DEADLY PREMONITION! (The game I'm playing now actually. It's quite entertaining. Well worth the 20$ it is.)
    Ultimate Sonic Collection (It's got some of the old favorites I used to play on the Sega)
    I'd like to stress Dead Space. It's got a really great game mechanic! I poured a lot of life into it. (Like One-Gunning and Epic Tiering it. I decided I wanted to feel so challenged, I needed to have some Gamer Rage time.)
    I'll probably think of more after I use the bathroom and log off.

    Have you played FFXIII yet? Also Fable II and Arkham Asylum are awesome.

    I played half way through XII and then got bored. I have played Fable 2 back when it was new so i'm excited for 3. AND i should play arkham..... GOOD SUGGESTION!

    Ah. There was one I forgot!
    It's good that you know about Halo. It's a beautiful game... the only thing that barely ruins it is those darn guys who only play multiplayer and don't enjoy the game for the masterpiece it is. >:O

    Assassin's Creed is pretty fun, you should be able to pick that up dirt cheap. Sequel too perhaps.
    Bioshock is well reviewed, I dunno scares the outta me.
    Dragon Age?!?!
    Lost Odyssey is pretty good too, plus cheap
    Mirror's Edge should be cheap as too, pretty good fun

    The Orange Box (mainly for Portal)
    BioShock 1 and 2 is optional
    Borderlands
    Lost Odyssey
    Oblivion
    Red Dead Redemption
    Viking (it's an underrated game imo)
