Polaris

So after so many years of being away from EOFF why the surge to come back? I'll be honest with you guys... I have missed you! AHHH just kidding, ok so maybe I sort of did XD For five painful years I have spoke/wrote 12h per day in Portuguese, at the beginning I wasn't used to it. My brain worked mostly in English and slowly it started working in Portuguese, full Portuguese ahead. But I kept reading books in English and trying to write novels in English, just then I realised... God when did my English start to be so awful? So I forced myself to write book reviews in English, because hey my English sucked, but at least I still had some cool writing style. But it was not enough, there was no interaction, it was dead (no, NO nobody died... well, my self-esteem is not what is used to be, but everyone is FINE). I meant the interaction, it was sorta lifeless. So I decided to ask myself the question: where did I learn to speak so good? When was I truly happy? And ta-dah! I remember: omg, the forum! I only play World of Warcraft (for two-three years) and the latest FF have been a major turn down, however the forum was always so much than that! It was the first place where you guys had to put up with my dreadful emo adolescent poetry, it was a place where I met Owen who taught me design (btw swettie I am now magazine designer AND cover designer of some projects so thank you!) and above all a place where I could chat with people, different people from around the world with different opinions and different views of the same world!

So yeah... I'm back!
I am now 25 years old, I am a teacher, I am still managing my literature addiction, I haven't quit biting my nails, I became a short-story writer, I started Nanowriming, I met a wonderful guy, I learnt how to cook and how to manage an internship, a part-time job, classes, a blog and a webzine. So yeah I am the same Polaris from the outside, but inside a lot has changed I am friendly, mostly harmless and I only bite when necessary.

So yeah... glad to be back!
